On June 23rd a “micro-burst” swept through Wallingford, CT and destroyed Jen, Nadir, and Wassily’s home which they bought less than a year ago.
A huge 150 ft. oak tree fell diagonally across the house crushing all of the important structural beams of the home, leaving it uninhabitable.
Jen and Nadir have insurance but there are going to be many out-of-pocket expenses quickly adding up that will not be covered, the largest of which is the removal of the tree. It will require a crane to remove the tree and will cost about $7,000. No other work can begin until the tree has been removed.
Many people have asked how they can help and – this is it! Please consider donating as little as $5.00 to assist Jan, Nadir, and Wassily to rebuild their home.
