Who is Section 8?

Section 8 is the Brain Child of Wilson Ramos-Jr. & Eric Rivera who with the help of a few others have started their own comic company for the sole purpose of making money…oh and to make some great… uh goo… um… We make comics & sketchbooks.

What is a Section 8?

In the military Section 8 is when a Soldier is released for psychiatric reasons. It’s also welfare housing. But we picked it because it’s where all the Puerto Ricans would hang out in Orchard Beach in the Bronx.

Are you a comic company or a studio?

Both. Not only do we put books together for ourselves but we also outsource to other companies & studios.

How come some of the books don’t have the 8 Ball Logo?

Some books listed here are either not owned by Section 8 or we worked strictly as a studio service for the books, but Section 8 has worked on every book here in some way or another.

Can I submit to Section 8?

Sure, but go the Submission guidelines section first. It will cut down on headaches for everyone.

Can I find your books in stores?

We mainly sell our books in comic conventions at this time, though you can find them in a few local stores in the NYC area. We are using the cons as a testing ground to see what fans respond to. Once we feel a book has created a significant following we will look to submit to Diamond for distribution.

Do you only do black & white books?

No, but a book needs to develop a following before it gets printed in color.
